The project concerns the refurbishment of a building of great architectural value, which has been disused for several years, to become the new headquarters of the INAIL offices in Taranto.
The structure, almost rectangular in shape, is composed of a first rectangular part, a second rectangular area, also narrower, which acts as a link to the circular part of the structure, which represents and characterizes it architecturally.
The project includes the following interventions
- Complete internal and external refurbishment of the building structure, including structural works;
- Extraordinary maintenance of the technological systems to ensure energy efficiency;
- Redevelopment of the external areas (car parks and green areas).
- SJS also performed the following activities:
- metric and photographic surveys with SAPR (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems);
- functional studies of the internal distribution of the offices to highlight the flexibility and potentiality of the building;
- economic estimation of the works.
All the activities are carried out in compliance with the requirements of the tender issued by INAIL.
