CINTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEM – CRUISE AND FERRY TERMINALS
The project purpose was to implement an integrated security system within the port areas of Isola Bianca, Golfo Aranci and Porto Cocciani, in accordance with the requirements of the ISPS Code.
The Port of Olbia, divided into the three areas listed above, is well connected to the road axes, with accesses allowed by 3 driveways and one for pedestrian.
The project has involved the realization of a protected area by controlling unauthorized access from both land and sea.
AN AMBITIOUS PROJECT DELIVERED
The project has therefore guaranteed:
- Single station location for monitoring signals from IDS (Intrusion Detection System);
- Supervision of all access to port areas;
- Adequate surveillance measures for the water surface of the port;
- Physical barriers to delimit the protected port area.
