We’re thrilled to announce the kickoff of Project Management activities by SJS Consulting S.r.l. on behalf of Porta a Mare SpA!
Starting from September 15, 2025, our professionals are delivering engineering and management services for the construction of the new tourist marina in the Port of Livorno — a prestigious development for the city, already highlighted by media outlets such as SuperYacht24, ShipMag, and Il Tirreno.
This is a flagship project worth over €20 million, featuring 815 berths in total (including dedicated spaces for mega yachts up to 80 meters). After more than 17 years of waiting and complex bureaucratic challenges, the dream of a new marina in Livorno is finally becoming reality, with a consortium of local companies entrusted with execution.
SJS Consulting S.r.l. plays a crucial role as the link between the Client, the Contractor, and the Works Supervision Office. Our team is already on site in Livorno to coordinate all necessary actions, ensuring a smooth start and strict adherence to the schedule — with the first 150 berths of Phase 1 set for delivery between January and February 2026, and full completion expected by October 2027.
This landmark project will bring pride to the city of Livorno, making the new berths accessible as soon as possible and contributing to the growth and enhancement of the city’s stunning port. The new Marina Mediceo is set to become a benchmark for yachting in Tuscany, giving back to the community a historic waterfront with new spaces for meetings, leisure, entertainment, and open access to the docks for all Livorno residents.
